I'm so intrigued and excited! Just started reading this fantastic novel "The Colour of Bee Larkham's Murder" by British author Sarah J. Harris. Harris’ first adult novel tells the story of thirteen-year-old Jasper, who has synesthesia and lives in a world of dazzling colour that no one else can see. Words, numbers, music, days of the week, people’s voices – everything has its unique shade. But recently Jasper’s seen a colour he doesn’t like or understand: the colour of murder. The novel has been published by renowned UK publisher HarperCollins UK and Touchstone US.
I was asked to help Sarah creating her main character by counseling her regarding my synesthetic perception of certain situations Jasper finds himself into.
